The Continuing Legal Education Committee is designed to provide a forum for continuing legal education on a statewide basis to the membership of the Association and will focus on areas of concern to the Association.

The Committee has established guidelines for continuing legal education credit in New York State. Chapters are accredited to offer CLE programs under WBASNY's name if the programs comply with the guidelines. The Committee shall keep informed and disseminate to the Chapters and to the Board of Directors any changes in CLE requirement in New York State.

The Chair(s) of the Committee should hold meetings throughout the fiscal year as needed and should make available to the Board of Directors of the Association written and oral reports on its activities as needed.

The Committee shall work with the chapters in developing their program agendas, and to ensure compliance with regulations. The Committee shall also work closely with the Convention Committee(s) on the proposed CLE programs at convention.
