SUMMARY:WBASNY Lobby Week
DESCRIPTION:WBASNY Lobby Week \nMay 9th – May 12th \nMembers  are encouraged to participate in Lobby Week 2022. Meetings will be held on Zoom to enable people to participate from around the state without the need to travel to Albany.  All participants will be required to attend a training session before  signing up for a meeting with a legislator. \nOur lobbyist\, Jess Schafroth\, will be hosting a training session the afternoon of April 27th at our weekly Legislation Committee Meeting held between 4:30 and 5:30.  For those who are unable to attend the “live” training session\, it will be recorded.  Sign up links are attached for both the training session and the Lobby Week meetings: https://bit.ly/WBASNY22. \nParticipation in Lobby Week will not be permitted if training is not attended and confirmed by the Legislation Committee Co-Chairs. \nThe Legislation Committee Co-Chairs are in the process of reviewing topics for discussion with the legislators and will be circulating a poll asking for your input\, and that of your members\, over the next few weeks.  In the meantime\, if you have any questions\, please contact Natanya Briendel at nbriendel@gmail.com.
