DESCRIPTION:Buy a Holiday Gift for a Survivor of\nDomestic Violence with WBASNY’s\n“Norejko Schwaeber Amazon Gift Drive” \nWBASNY is embarking on the second year of its annual Amazon Gift Drive\, to support domestic violence organizations and the victims they serve across New York State. \nThis year we have named the project the “Norejko Schwaeber Amazon Gift Drive” in honor of our former DV co-chairs Amanda Norejko and Lois Schwaeber\, who were fierce warriors against domestic violence. Amanda passed away in August 2023 after a career of tirelessly helping victims\, while serving as a WBASNY officer and NYWBA President.  Amanda also co-founded this initiative and asked us to carry it forward. Lois Schwaeber passed away in June 2023\, after decades supporting domestic violence survivors\, while chairing  WBASNY committees and as an active member of the Nassau chapter. \nWBASNY members are encouraged to purchase gifts from the Amazon wishlists of domestic violence organizations across the state through the holiday season until January 5\, 2024.  Please click on the link below for a list of WBASNY chapter areas with a corresponding organization and their Amazon wishlist link.
