DESCRIPTION:Dear Members\, \nAt the Brooklyn Women’s Bar Association we have made the commitment to support the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer movement to fight breast cancer. Many of us have lost family members and dear friends to this disease. We are asking for your support in this fight to save lives. \nYou can support our efforts in two ways:\n1. Walk with us!\n2. Make a donation to the American Cancer Society. \nWALK WITH US\nWe will be walking at this year’s Breast Cancer Walk on Sunday\, October 27\, 2024. The walk starts at 8:00AM at Coney Island Boardwalk & Maimonides Park (1904 Surf Ave\, Brooklyn\, NY) and is approximately 3 miles long. \nCONSIDER MAKING A DONATION\nIn addition to walking\, we are also committed to raising funds to help support the American Cancer Society’s work. Together we can end breast cancer. Every dollar we raise will directly support the American Cancer Society’s innovative breast cancer research\, help provide free 24/7 information and support\, ensure greater access to quality care\, influence public policy\, and provide patient support.
