In 1985\, Dr. Campbell developed the “Danger Assessment\,” a graded questionnaire that is among the first tools created to assess a woman’s risk of being killed by an abusive partner. The Assessment also gives the victim/survivor a greater awareness of their situation\, a tool to plan their own safety\, and a way for providers to give them more personalized help. The tool is now used widely by attorneys\, service providers\, law enforcement\, and others. DESCRIPTION:  \nWBASNY Wellness Committee\nNutrition 101 and Benefits of High Intensity Interval Training \nFebruary 8\, 2023\n6:00 – 7:00 pm \nTheresa DeLorenzo\, R.D.\, will offer Nutrition Tidbits: mindful eating\, disease prevention\, food fad pitfalls\, nutrients of concern\, and nutrient timing with work outs.  WBASNY’s own Erin R. Lynch will give an overview of High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)\, and its health benefits. \nThis is a free\, virtual program.\n \nABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS\n \nTheresa DeLorenzo is a Registered Dietician who is also a 200-hour trained yoga teacher with a certificate in yoga therapy providing emphasis on improving body image.  She is also the owner and founder of Nutrition for Optimal Performance\, working with athletes to make sure they are eating the correct proportion of macro and micro nutrients to perform at their best. \n \nErin R. Lynch is an attorney\, mom\, and fitness instructor.  Her path to fitness began when her father brought her to the school track to run laps as a little girl.  She dedicated years to running and eventually found greater health benefits from incorporating strength training and yoga into her life.  Erin is a certified yoga teacher (200 YTT)\, kids yoga instructor\, and Hot HIIT instructor.  She teaches at a hot yoga studio in the Capital Region. \nREGISTER HERE
