1:00 – 2:30 pm

Please join the WBASNY Wellness Committee to enjoy a virtual book discussion with friends. We will be discussing the critically acclaimed international bestseller, A Correspondent by Virginial Evans.  This novel is an exploration of grief, regret, human connections and a reflection on life through letters written (and received) by a seventy-three year old retired woman named Sybil Van Antwerp. This quirky, brusque and yet endearing main character will make you both laugh and cry as she deals with past trauma and chronicles her path of growth and self-awareness.

Virginia Evans

Before publishing this book, Virginia earned her bachelor’s in English literature from James Madison University and later, as she was raising a family, her masters of philosophy from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. Virginia began her professional career as a writer with her debut novel A Correspondent. She  lives in Winston-Salem, North Carolina with her husband and two children, and has since published Within the Walled City.
