Danielle Menendez

Danielle Menendez, Recording Secretary, has been the Principal Law Clerk for the Honorable Pamela L. Fisher in Kings County Supreme Court, Civil Term since May of 2019. She previously served as the Assistant Law Clerk to the Honorable Pamela L. Fisher from January 2019-May 2019. Prior to joining the court system, Ms. Menendez worked as an Agency Attorney at the New York City Administration for Children’s Services (NYC ACS), Family Court Legal Services, representing the agency in child abuse and neglect cases.

Ms. Menendez joined the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York’s Staten Island Chapter, (“SIWBA”), in 2016 and since then has served as a Board Member and in various officer positions from 2017to 2025, including as President from 2021 through 2023. Ms. Menendez served as a Co-Chair of the WBASNY CLE Committee from 2023 to 2025 and Co-Chair of the WBASNY Awards Committee from 2024 to 2025. She previously served as the SIWBA’s Chapter Committee Representative on various WBASNY committees, including the Nominations Committee, Awards Committee, Children’s Rights Committee, Domestic Violence Committee, LGBTQIA+ Committee and Human Trafficking Committee. In 2020, she received the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York’s Doris S. Hoffman Outstanding New Lawyer Award for her dedication and contribution to the Richmond County community.
In October 2022, Ms. Menendez was appointed as a Member of the Committee on Character and Fitness for the Second, Tenth, Eleventh and Thirteenth Judicial Districts.

Ms. Menendez is also a member of the Brooklyn Bar Association, Columbian Lawyer’s Bar Association, Richmond County Bar Association and the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers.

Ms. Menendez graduated from West Virginia University in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Anthropology. In 2015, she obtained her Juris Doctor from New York Law School.
