WBASNY Congratulates Judicial Appointments

New York, NY, Monday, November 24, 2025 – The Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York (“WBASNY”), congratulates the following individuals on their respective judicial appointments.

Hon. Molly Reynolds Fitzgerald, designated by Governor Hochul to a five-year term as Associate Justice, Appellate Division, Third Department. Justice Reynolds Fitzgerald is currently serving on the Appellate Division, Third Department. Prior to being designated to that Court in 2019, Justice Reynolds Fitzgerald served as Administrative Judge for the 6th Judicial District. Hon. Justin Corcoran newly designated by Governor Hochul to serve on the Appellate Division, Third Department. Justice Corcoran is a Justice of the Supreme Court in Albany, elected in 2020.

Hon. Timothy S. Driscoll, appointed as Presiding Justice of the Appellate Term of the State Supreme Court for the Second Department, Ninth and Tenth Judicial Districts, and to Hon. Maureen T. Liccione, as an Associate Justice of the Appellate Term of the State Supreme Court for the Second Department, Ninth and Tenth Judicial Districts, as announced by Chief Administrative Judge Joseph A. Zayas, and with the approval of Appellate Division, Second Department Presiding Justice Hector D. LaSalle. Justice Driscoll, who has been serving the Court as an Associate Justice, succeeds the late Judge Jerry Garguilo as Presiding Justice. Justice Liccione was appointed to the New York Court of Claims in 2019 and sits on the Suffolk County Supreme Court.

Hon. Gigi N. Parris appointed as Supervising Judge of Queens Family Court, as announced by Chief Administrative Judge Joseph A. Zayas and First Deputy Chief Administrative Judge Norman St. George, and in consultation with Presiding Justice LaSalle, Appellate Division, Second Department, Deputy Chief Administrative Judge for New York City Courts Adam Silvera, and New York City Family Court Administrative Judge Anne-Marie Jolly. Judge Parris was first appointed as an interim New York City Civil Court judge in March 2021 and appointed to the New York City Family Court in December 2022.
