Wednesday, March 18, 2026, 6:30 PM – 8:00 PM

Name of event: Event Title: Small Spaces, Big Rights

Description of event: Join the International Women’s Rights Committee for a candid discussion of how, in small spaces around the globe, game changers through multi disciplined platforms are impacting Women’s access to justice. Nearly three-quarters of a century ago, Eleanor Roosevelt posed a question: “Where, after all, do universal human rights begin? “She responded: “In small places, close to home, so close and so small that they cannot be seen on any maps of the world.” After defining various small spaces, she concluded by saying that “without concerted citizen action to uphold [universal human rights] close to home, we shall look in vain for progress in the larger world.”

How will the event be held: In-Person
