Amy Baldwin Littman, President, is Principal Law Clerk to the Hon. Sandra B. Sciortino, Supreme Court, Orange County. Prior to working in the court system, she was a solo practitioner with offices in New City, New York and Montvale, New Jersey, concentrating in family law and Social Security disability appeals. From 1992-2013, she was also an Adjunct Professor of Law at New York Law School, teaching first year and upper-level legal drafting courses.

A graduate of SUNY Albany and Pace University School of Law, where she was a Casenote and Comment Editor of Pace Law Review, Amy has served WBASNY as President-Elect, Vice President, and Corresponding Secretary. She represented Rockland County on the Nominations and Conventions committees, and co-chaired Convention 2011 in Vermont. She has been a liaison to WBASNY’s Amicus Curiae, Elder Law, LGBT and Judiciary Committees.

She served as President of the Rockland County Women’s Bar Association, and for more than 15 years, was co-chair of the Mock Trials Committee of the Rockland County Bar Association. She has presented Continuing Legal Education programs to both associations, and has spoken on local radio about legal issues of interest to the community. She is proud member of the Rockland County Women’s Bar Association, and the Women’s Bar Association of Orange & Sullivan Counties.

In her community, Amy served for more than 20 years as a Director and Officer of VCS, Inc., a unique, volunteer-driven social service agency, providing counseling, mediation and support services to underserved communities in Rockland, Orange and Westchester Counties. She also worked with the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.

Ms. Baldwin Littman resides in Chestnut Ridge, New York with her husband, Steve Littman, and, for a few more days, with her daughter, Emily, who is soon to move to Philadelphia, where her brother Joseph also lives.
