Jodi Ann Donato

Jodi Ann Donato, President-Elect, is the founder and principal attorney of Donato Law, where she focuses her practice on family law. Her approach to advocacy is shaped not only by her years in practice but also by her own life experiences, which give her a deeper understanding of the challenges many families face during times of transition.

Ms. Donato has been actively involved in bar leadership at both the local and state levels. She served as Treasurer of the Women’s Bar Association of the State of New York (WBASNY) for two terms, and as a Co-Chair of the WBASNY Matrimonial and Family Law Committee. She served as President, Treasurer, Director and WBASNY Delegate of her chapter, the Suffolk County Women’s Bar Association, before becoming a WBASNY officer. She is also involved in the Suffolk County Bar Association’s Matrimonial and Family Law Committee, and the Suffolk County Matrimonial Bar Association.

Outside of her legal work, Jodi is deeply committed to her community. She serves as a lector and Catechist at St. Mary’s Church, reflecting her strong foundation in faith and service. She is also a mentor through the East Islip School District Business Partnership, where she supports and encourages the next generation.

As President-Elect, Ms. Donato is committed to fostering unity, strengthening connections among members, and building upon the organization’s mission. She looks forward to a year of collaboration, growth, and meaningful impact alongside her fellow officers and members.

Ms. Donato is most proud of her family. She is the mother of three children—Steven, a Supreme Court Clerk, Amber and Kevin, and a proud mother-in-law to Marjory. She is also a devoted grandmother to Jocelynnn, Annastasia and Rowan, who bring her endless joy and inspiration.
