Highlights of Presidency:

I will always remember the gratification of visiting various chapters across New York State to help further understand the needs of practicing attorneys in those communities and their need for the Women’s Bar Association. The diversity of New York state is wonderful and the ability to experience it was invaluable. Personally I will always value the lifelong friendships that I have now due to WBASNY. During my year we saw the enactment of No Fault Divorce in the summer of 2010. In addition, we worked tirelessly for the enactment of the Marriage Equality Act which was signed into law in June of 2011 at the beginning of my successor Karen Richardson’s Presidency. All the officers that were part of my team that year and the committee chairs were wonderful. We truly worked as a team and although the hours were long they were worth every minute.

Reflections on WBASNY at 40:

WBASNY has grown a lot over our 40 years. There is much left to do but we have made a lasting impression.
