Women in the Highest Courts:
History in the Making CLE

In light of the recent U.S. Supreme Court nomination, this program will focus on women in the highest courts and how they obtained their seats.  We will have a jurist from the NYS Court of Appeals provide an overview of women sitting in the higher courts in both the United States and New York State and its significance.  A representative from the Governor’s office will discuss the screening process to attain a higher court seat in New York State and a jurist who recently attained a seat in the Court of Appeals will also discuss her ascension.
