What is Caregiver Discrimination?

October 22, 2020 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Western New York Chapter

What is Caregiver Discrimination?

Join us for an educational hour with nationally recognized expert in gender and family responsibility discrimination, Rebecca G. Pontikes, Esq.

Ms. Pontikes, who has filed amicus briefs before the United States Supreme Court on issues involving labor and employment law, and who has lectured extensively on workplace discrimination, will explain the elements of a claim for caretaking discrimination, as well as its context within the complex Federal statutory regime preventing workplace discrimination and retaliation.  This seminar will explore caretaking discrimination at time of increased family responsibilities because of COVID-19.  Both the rights of employees who believe they are experiencing caretaking discrimination and advice for employers who are hoping to limit their exposure to such claims will be addressed.

Please RSVP to Kara Eyre – keyre@gmclaw.com

A Zoom link will be provided before the presentation.

THIS MEMBERS-ONLY EVENT IS GENEROUSLY BEING SPONSORED EXCLUSIVELY BY THE LAW OFFICE OF LINDY KORN, PLLC.
