Tiffany C. Malcolm

Tiffany C. Malcolm, Vice President, received her B.S. in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University. Having an early interest in the law and its impact on people, Ms. Malcolm furthered her education by attending Northeastern University School of Law. Ms. Malcolm, fueling her passion to serve her community, focused on public interest law, interning for various public interest organizations such as public defender offices across the country, including Massachusetts and San Francisco, the National Coalition on Homelessness and Poverty, the Office of the Attorney General of Massachusetts, and the Institute on Race and Justice at Northeastern University.

Upon graduating law school and passing the New York State Bar Examination, Ms. Malcolm returned to New York and began working as a staff attorney in the Criminal Defense Practice of The Legal Aid Society in Queens. After 3½ years at the Legal Aid Society, Ms. Malcolm joined the New York State Unified Court System as the Principal Law Clerk to the Honorable Evelyn L. Braun. Ms. Malcolm clerked for Judge Braun in the Queens Supreme Court, Criminal Term for 6 ½ years before beginning her current clerkship for the Honorable Nicole McGregor Mundy, who sits in the Queens Supreme Court, Civil Term.

Ms. Malcolm is an active member and serves on the board or as an officer of various bar and civic associations such as The Association of Law Secretaries to the Supreme & Surrogate’s Courts, the Amistad Long Island Black Bar Association, the Macon B. Allen Black Bar Association, the National Bar Association, the Queens County Women’s Bar Association, the Town of Brookhaven Rosa Parks Democratic Association and, of course, the Women’s Association of the State of New York.

In her spare time Ms. Malcolm enjoys traveling, especially to her parents’ native country, Jamaica.
